Dopa ("WakeMeDope", "we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy and giving you complete ownership over your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is handled, and how you can exercise your privacy rights under App Store Guideline 5.1.1.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Credentials: When signing in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address, unique authentication identifier, and display name (or an anonymized Apple relay email if you choose Hide My Email).
• Preferences & Topics: Your chosen curiosity topics, mascot customizations, preferred voice narration settings, and notification tokens (FCM push tokens).
• Playback & Usage Events: Interaction with audio briefings and articles to enable playback progress restoration across your devices.

2. How We Use Information

• To assemble, synthesize, and deliver your daily personalized audio intelligence briefings.
• To manage your free trial or Plus membership access.
• We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to ad brokers or third parties.

3. In-App Account & Data Deletion (Guideline 5.1.1(v))

You have the right to permanently erase your account and all associated personal records at any time. You can initiate this immediately from within the app:

Go to Settings > Account Actions > Delete Account.

Upon confirmation, your topics, playback progress, library bookmarks, companion mascot settings, and authentication records are permanently erased immediately across our production databases and authentication systems.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud) for secure identity verification and Supabase (PostgreSQL) for encrypted persistent storage. These providers adhere to rigorous industry privacy and security certifications.
